I’ve had this shot on the wall of my classroom for almost two decades, but I was never sure which hydrogen bomb test it was from. Turns out it was the Canopus test by France in 1968 over the Fangataufa atoll. I found out because Flickr member Pierre J. posted some images of the test.

    Update: Evidently this was actually from France’s 914 kiloton Licorne Shot.
