Line Rider

David Pogue, technology columnist for the NY Times, highlighted the interesting Line Rider flash game in a recent blog entry. This is a fun opportunity to see gravity and projectile motion in action.

Pogue’s posting includes several YouTube videos of the thing in action, including one with an underwater theme, with an amazing finish and another for those up for caving, with a tragic ending.

There’s a downloadable, standalone version here, and alternate versions include LineFlyer (motorcycle), Jeep Flyer (Jeep), and Line Boarder (snowboard).
